Why is this training so important?

This training meets the new requirements of NFPA 80, 2022 and the soon-to-be-published International Fire Code for periodic testing for all coiling fire doors, regardless of manufacturer. Each technician is expected to complete this course and leave with a thorough understanding of the requirements of periodic inspections. It's a 3 hour lecture, followed by in-person exam, however materials need to be studied in advance before arrival to the course.  Link to materials are provided within the confirmation letter.

If your technicians do not currently hold IDEA certification for rolling steel fire doors, this is an affordable and sensible alternative to ensure that they are trained and fully compliant with the new language.
